Got a Master degree at Polytehcnical University of Denmark at the department of plastic technology in the institute of process technology.
The institute today is called Institute for mechanical Technology and the department is Process- and Production technology
The primary objective in the master project was an analysis of achieveable flow length in thin walled parts.
The project also included design of a special test tool, a complete analysis of the machine hydraulics and experimental as well as modelling flow in different polymers. Among the analysis was writing a progam for simulating flow length and cavity pressure.
This master project provided a lot of knowledge about flow and pressure loss in hydrualic systems as well as in a polymer melt. This knowledge about rheology has been and still is an important element in the understanding of the injection molding process.
